Jackie Meretsky
NBC Weather Plus Meteorologist
Quite literally, the road to meteorologist Jackie Meretsky's weathercasting career has been rocked with turbulence. On what was supposed to be a routine flight from Toronto to San Francisco, the 747 jet dropped 1,000 feet due to an electrical storm over the Colorado Rockies. Re-igniting her passion for storms, Jackie became a weather specialist and on-air anchor at The Weather Network, Canada's national weather network. Jackie joined the NBC Weather Plus team in October 2005, and without wasting any time she headed to Naples, Fla., to cover Hurricane Wilma. Jackie is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal and speaks fluent French.Check out our blogs!Last stamp on your passport: Mexico!Recently played on your iPod: P.
